Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Systems Technician (Programmer) to remotely program communicators and alarm panels, supporting Field Technicians with accurate account setup and monitoring readiness. The role emphasizes data entry, issue research, and timely responses to technician requests to ensure proper configuration of alarm, communicator, and video equipment within the CMC.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take inbound phone calls from technicians requesting assistance with programming customer alarm panels, communicators, or video equipment through remote DLL.
• Input specific information into new or existing accounts based on technician requests or scope of work.
• Register communicators and ensure accurate communication between the customer location, JCI receivers, and Mastermind.
• Complete data entry in programming systems and MM when required.
• Research and investigate technical issues, then respond back to the appropriate parties by phone.
• Ensure MM data and panel programming are accurate and place accounts in service to be monitored in the CMC.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
