Qualifications

• 10+ years experience as Simplex Fire Alarm Technician/Programmer.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Simplex programmers.
• NICET Level III certification preferred.
• Proficient in NFPA standards and reading construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate travel to local offices to assist customer sites experiencing difficulties.
• Provide remote support and Q&A with the team via Teams or similar tools.
• Obtain files from local offices to build a complete Simplex Fire Alarm System Program.
• Collaborate with design team to gather drawings and CSV files for programming.
• Read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and contracts.
• Apply NFPA standards to design and program fire alarm systems based on building type and features.
• Coordinate with contracting teams to align delivery with customer needs.
• Attend weekly Teams meetings to discuss backlog and urgent projects.
• Upload completed projects to SharePoint and share links with local offices.
