Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License with a good DMV record for at least 5 years.

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing systems, and recommending installations and services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect fire alarm, burglar alarm, access control, monitoring, and nurse call systems
  • Make recommendations for system installation and service
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including company vehicle, adhering to safety policies
  • Work independently with high workmanship standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and professional communication
  • Follow verbal and written instructions; document work accurately
  • Use basic tools and knowledge of trade tools
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with a good DMV record for at least 5 years
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in fire alarm system installation, service, testing, troubleshooting, and programming
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm products, access control, and CCTV
  • Knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70, and current standards
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Schedule
  • 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
  • Rotating On-Call shifts (for Service Department applicants)

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Physical Requirements

This role involves walking, standing, bending, reaching, climbing ladders/scaffolds, working at heights above 40 feet, navigating job sites, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs. Safety compliance is mandatory.
