Job summary

PrimeFlight is seeking a Wheelchair Dispatcher to coordinate the deployment of wheelchair attendants across airport terminals, optimizing schedules and ensuring timely passenger assistance. You will monitor flight schedules, accessibility needs, and attendant availability while maintaining clear communication with airline staff and passengers.

Qualifications

• 1 year of wheelchair experience.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the dispatch of wheelchair services throughout the airport terminals.
• Respond promptly to requests for wheelchair assistance from airline personnel and passengers.
• Manage the scheduling and routing of wheelchair attendants to maximize efficiency.
• Track the availability and location of wheelchairs and mobility equipment.
• Maintain clear communication with airport staff, including gate agents and customer service representatives.
• Ensure ADA compliance and airport regulations.
• Provide training and guidance to wheelchair attendants on safety protocols.
• Monitor service quality and passenger satisfaction with wheelchair assistance.
• Handle passenger inquiries and concerns related to wheelchair services.
• Maintain records and logs of wheelchair dispatches and assistance provided.
• Collaborate with airport security and medical teams in emergencies.
