Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is hiring a Wheelchair Attendant to ensure passenger comfort and mobility in airports. You will assist passengers with transfers, operate wheelchair equipment, and coordinate with flight teams to maintain safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority credentials may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with mobility and transfer to aircraft seats using appropriate devices.
• Push wheelchair passengers to and from airport gates.
• Assist with handling checked, carry-on, and claimed luggage.
• Guide passengers in wheelchairs down the jet bridge, ensuring wheel brakes are engaged.
• Complete reports regarding wheelchairs or incidents and adhere to gate orders.
• Provide safe, courteous service and answer passenger questions promptly.
