Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. seeks a Wheelchair Supervisor to lead the wheelchair operation at the airport, supervising a team of Wheelchair Leads and Attendants while ensuring passenger comfort and ADA compliance.

You will train staff, enforce service standards, coordinate with airport departments, and address complex issues to maintain safety and quality. Responsibilities include scheduling, safety monitoring, performance reviews, liaison with airline staff, and reporting on operations

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• English communication proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
• Supervise teams in customer service or airport operations.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Able to access and interpret information on electronic devices.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligible for credentials (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs).
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations and activities of the wheelchair service team.
• Ensure efficient scheduling of wheelchair attendants across terminals.
• Monitor safety protocols for wheelchair handling and passenger assistance.
• Train and mentor attendants on best practices and service excellence.
• Resolve operational challenges or passenger complaints related to wheelchair services.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with airport authorities and airline staff for seamless service.
• Oversee maintenance and availability of wheelchairs and mobility aids.
• Ensure ADA compliance and airport/customer policies are followed.
• Develop strategies to improve service efficiency and passenger experience.
• Prepare reports on operations and attendant productivity.
