Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Wichita, KS is seeking a Wheelchair Agent to assist passengers with mobility needs from check-in to boarding and baggage claim. The role emphasizes safety, courteous service, and clear communication in a fast-paced airport environment.

You will push wheelchairs, support passengers, and complete incident reports, while following gate orders and maintaining a professional demeanor with colleagues and airport staff. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the US.
• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• Must be able to obtain an airport badge.

Responsibilities

• Push wheelchair passengers to and from gates.
• Roll customer-occupied wheelchair down the jet bridge.
• Ensure wheel brakes are in place prior to exiting the wheelchair.
• Complete any necessary wheelchair or incident reports.
• Follow dispatcher gate orders.
• Maintain a friendly and positive attitude and assist passengers with problems or questions.
• Maintain professional working relationships with staff, supervisors, managers, airline employees, and airport authorities.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
