Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Airline Passenger Assistant (Wheelchair Agent) to support passengers who require wheelchair assistance. This on-site role focuses on safety, courteous service, and efficient movement within the airport environment.

No high school diploma is required and on-the-job training is provided. Prior customer service is preferred, but all applicants aged 18+ are encouraged to apply; veterans are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Preferred: one year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers
• Positive interpersonal interaction with passengers
• Comply with all client and/or site security requirements and processes
• Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from their retrieval point to their desired destination within the client site or grounds
• Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary
• Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate Agents, if necessary
• Complete thorough Incident Reports
