Menzies Aviation in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Wheelchair Agent to assist passengers with mobility needs from check-in to boarding and baggage claim. You will provide wheelchair transport, exceptional customer service, and coordination with airport staff to ensure timely assistance.

The role requires the ability to work 8-hour shifts, 3 days a week, including weekends, and to pass background checks and drug testing. A high school diploma or GED and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge.
• Must be in proper uniform or business attire as directed by company officials.

Responsabilités

• Assist passengers requiring wheelchair or mobility assistance throughout the airport.
• Transport passengers safely between ticket counters, security checkpoints, gates, baggage claim, and connecting flights.
• Assist passengers with boarding and deplaning aircraft when required.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional communication to passengers and families.
• Assist elderly passengers, individuals with disabilities, and travelers requiring special assistance.
• Handle wheelchairs and mobility equipment safely and properly.
• Coordinate with gate agents, airline staff, and airport personnel to ensure timely passenger assistance.
• Respond promptly to wheelchair service requests and maintain efficient passenger flow.
• Assist with light baggage handling when necessary.
• Follow all airport safety procedures, airline policies, and TSA regulations.
• Report operational concerns, passenger incidents, or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain professionalism, patience, and sensitivity while assisting passengers.
• Perform other duties as requested.
