Job summary

Hertz in Long Beach, CA is hiring a part-time Customer Service Instant Return Representative at the airport location. You will be the brand ambassador, delivering the fastest, easiest and most valued experience to customers returning vehicles.

Responsibilities include managing returns, greeting customers, providing invoices and explanations of charges, resolving issues, inspecting vehicles, and maintaining a tidy work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales or customer service in a high-volume or service-oriented environment.
• Strong sales and closing skills with a friendly, engaging manner.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provides world class customer service by managing vehicle returns, per Hertz policies.
• Welcome customers with a pleasant greeting and professional attitude; assist with luggage and questions.
• Provide the customer with an invoice and explain charges.
• Resolve customer issues professionally; refer to Team Leader when needed.
• Inspect vehicle for damage and document accordingly; check fuel and mileage.
• Explain final charges clearly and secure keys; ensure personal belongings are removed.
• Convey customer feedback to team; participate in action planning to improve service.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and support managers' requests.
