Gate Gourmet in New York, NY is seeking an Operations Supervisor responsible for supervising drivers and driver assistants who coordinate services between kitchens and drivers. You will control activities on the dock, ensure safety, and maintain quality production standards for all accounts.

The role requires a high school diploma (associates preferred) and 2+ years supervisory experience in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Must have strong and effective leadership skills and the ability to manage a staff of 30+ hourly employees.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing/food production or related field is preferred.
• Able to train others and provide daily feedback to employees.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; adapt to changing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Ensure quality production standards are maintained for all accounts.
• Assign team drivers to flights daily and coordinate dock departures.
• Verify equipment and safety procedures; ensure drivers depart on schedule.
• Coordinate with airlines on service requirements and updates; maintain radio contact with managers.
• Prepare management reports and monitor labor, attendance, and HAACP related data.
• Supervise drivers and driver assistants; conduct performance coaching and corrective actions.
