Job summary

Gate Gourmet in Inwood, NY is seeking a motivated kitchen supervisor to oversee multiple departments and ensure compliance with safety, wage-hour and company policies. You will supervise 30+ hourly staff, coordinate transportation routing, and monitor equipment maintenance to keep flights on schedule.

Responsibilities include trend reporting, labor planning, coaching, and ensuring training such as ServSafe is completed.

Qualifications

• Leadership to manage 30+ hourly staff
• Experience supervising in high-volume food production or catering
• ServSafe certification required or in progress

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
• Supervise and support lower management
• Coordinate transportation routing and flight delivery scheduling
• Oversee maintenance with timely reporting of issues
• Conduct inventory and manage waste reduction
• Prepare end-of-month projections and management reports
• Coach and discipline staff per policy and HR guidance
• Balance workloads and plan staffing by shift
• Ensure wage/hour compliance and breaks
• Train staff on procedures for maximum productivity
