Gate Gourmet is seeking a dedicated supervisor to oversee kitchen operations across multiple departments. You will ensure safety compliance, manage a team of 30+ hourly employees, and coordinate transportation and flight schedules to meet departure times.

Responsibilities include training staff, conducting performance evaluations, and preparing monthly projections with senior managers. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing or food production environment.
• Strong leadership with ability to manage 30+ hourly employees; train others and drive change.
• Must have ServSafe Certification; certification preferred.
• Bi-lingual in English and other languages (Spanish/Chinese Mandarin/Vietnamese/Hindi/Polish) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Ensures compliance with corporate, customer, federal, state and local policies.
• Supervises and supports lower management on daily operations.
• Coordinates transportation routing and flight delivery, ensuring timely departures.
• Works with maintenance to schedule preventive maintenance and report issues.
• Conducts inventory to minimize waste and ensures proper usage of material.
• Prepares end-of-month projections with Ops Manager and GM; creates management reports.
• Interfaces between customers and employees to ensure smooth operations.
• Manages staffing, training, performance evaluations, and labor relations with HR.
