Job summary

TYLin, a global infrastructure firm, seeks a Program Director - Airport Terminals to lead major terminal redevelopment programs in North America and beyond. You will shape strategy, align design, construction, and owners, and drive executive decision-making for multi-billion-dollar projects.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in aviation infrastructure, proven leadership of complex terminal programs, and strong stakeholder management with airport authorities, owners, and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive experience delivering major aviation infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated leadership of large airport terminal design programs within the United States or internationally.
• Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary consultant teams.
• Proven ability to oversee large capital programs with multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of major airport terminal design and redevelopment programs.
• Serve as the primary executive interface with airport owners, program management teams, and key stakeholders.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams consisting of architects, engineers, planners, and specialty consultants.
• Develop program execution strategies that support cost, schedule, quality, and risk objectives.
• Provide executive oversight throughout planning, design, procurement, and construction support phases.
• Manage project governance, reporting, and executive communications.
• Guide technical decision-making while balancing operational, commercial, and passenger experience priorities.
• Coordinate with design-build teams, CMAR teams, joint ventures, and alternative delivery partners.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies for large, complex programs.
• Mentor and develop project managers and technical leaders across the aviation practice.
• Support business development activities, client relationship management, and strategic growth initiatives.
