Job summary

TYLin seeks an experienced Project Manager – Aviation (Terminal Design) to lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex airport terminal projects for major aviation programs. This role involves coordinating architects, engineers, planners, and stakeholders to deliver innovative, passenger-focused terminal environments.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in airport terminal design and redevelopment, with a track record of delivering major terminal projects in the United States

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience managing airport terminal design and redevelopment projects.
• Experience delivering major terminal projects at commercial airports in the United States or internationally.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams on complex aviation projects.
• Strong understanding of airport terminal planning, passenger processing, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design delivery of major airport terminal projects, including new construction, renovations, expansions, and modernization programs.
• Manage multidisciplinary design teams including architects, engineers, planners, interior designers, aviation specialists, and specialty consultants.
• Serve as the primary project interface with airport owners, airlines, tenants, regulatory agencies, and other key stakeholders.
• Coordinate all phases of terminal design, including programming, concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing plans, and delivery strategies.
• Facilitate design coordination meetings and ensure alignment between architectural, engineering, operational, and stakeholder requirements.
