Avolta at Los Angeles International Airport is seeking a Retail Shift Manager to support store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, proper staffing, and adherence to brand standards.

The role focuses on SOP compliance, cash handling, inventory, and visual merchandising while coaching hourly associates to uphold performance and service levels. This non-exempt position requires flexibility across shifts and days.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of retail and/or customer service experience
• Requires minimum 6 months of supervisory or lead experience in retail, specialty retail, or customer service environment
• Experience with POS systems and retail management software

Responsibilities

• Executes SOPs during assigned shifts and coaches associates to maintain consistent standards
• Maintains clean, stocked and visually appealing merchandise displays across shifts
• Reviews timekeeping and monitors overtime to ensure compliance with labor laws and budgets
• Assigns tasks to associates and ensures mandated breaks and meals are taken
• Escalates performance concerns to leadership and provides coaching to improve performance
• Operates POS systems and handles transaction voids per cash handling policies
• Monitors inventory levels and reports discrepancies to management
• Trains staff on brand standards and visual merchandising compliance
• Executes planogram changes and seasonal displays for brand alignment
