Job summary

Horizon Air in Bellingham, WA is seeking a part-time Ramp & Customer Service Agent to support both above- and below-wing tasks and guest interactions at the airport.

You will assist guests, manage baggage, check-in and boarding, and perform ramp functions in all weather. The role requires a flexible schedule, weekend/holiday availability, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.
• Must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with travel needs (inquiries, baggage, ticketing, checking-in, boarding).
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform below wing functions (transports baggage, loads/offloads cargo, marshaling, deicing).
• Perform boarding and gate duties, including announcements and standby/upgrade processing.
• Process and secure guest luggage, manage baggage claims, including damaged/delayed/pilferage.
• Load/offload luggage and cargo using conveyor belts.
• May perform duties of varying capacities as assigned by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
