Job summary

Horizon Air is seeking a Part-Time Ramp & Customer Service Agent to support guest interactions and ramp operations. You will assist guests, handle baggage processes, boarding duties and ensure smooth airport flow in all weather conditions.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to multitask, and a valid U.S. driver's license. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected, with paid training and potential overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a valid unexpired driver’s license issued by a US state, a US territory or the District of Columbia.
• Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system.
• Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to participate in paid training that may require overnight travel.
• Depending on work location, ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with travel needs (e.g., inquiries, baggage, ticketing, boarding) in a fast-paced environment.
• Work outdoors in all types of weather while performing below wing functions (transports baggage, loads/offloads, aircraft marshaling, pushes back).
• Performs aircraft grooming and security searches.
• Handle boarding and gate duties (assisting guests, announcements, standby/upgrade processing).
• Process and secure guest luggage; maintain luggage claims including damaged/delayed/pilferage.
• Load and unload luggage/cargo using conveyors.
• May be assigned to varying duties to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
