HMSHost at Denver International Airport is seeking a Manager I to support branch management in daily restaurant operations. You will ensure the dining area is clean, staffed, and prepared for service, supervise associates, and help uphold high standards across opening, day parts, and closing.

This role requires at least 2 years in food and beverage, 6 months supervisory experience, and the ability to speak and follow instructions. Work shifts vary; on-site location with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Assists the AGM/GM in managing by supervising day-to-day activities of associates within a defined group of restaurants or points‑of‑sale.
• Participates in the interview process, provides input in hiring, and recommends termination or promotion to the GM.
• Assigns work tasks and activities, prepares schedules, and ensures all shifts are covered.
• Ensures all associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods.
• Maintains clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas; ensures equipment is in good working order.
• Operates cash register and handles transactions following cash handling policies; maintains cash security.
• Monitors wellness and safety compliance and reports safety concerns to the GM.
• Places orders for units, receives goods, processes invoices.
• Ensures current contact information for all associates is up to date.
