Job summary

Avolta (including Dufry, HMSHost Corporation, Hudson, and affiliates) seeks a Manager I to assist branch management in executing QSR restaurant operations. You ensure cleanliness, readiness for business, staffing, and adherence to high standards.

This role reports to higher management and requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, supervising associates, interviewing and scheduling, and maintaining health, safety, and food

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a unit and assists with scheduling.
Participates in hiring decisions and advises on promotions or terminations.
Assigns tasks, prepares schedules and ensures shifts are covered.
Ensures rest breaks and meal periods are observed and maintained.
Keeps display areas clean and visually appealing; ensures equipment is functional.
