Job summary

GAT Airline Ground Support is seeking a Passenger Assistance Agent to help passengers through arrival and check-in, including support for those with special needs. The role involves assisting with wheelchairs, gate areas, and baggage where needed, while maintaining a professional, courteous image.

Responsibilities include operating jetways and reservation software, guiding passengers through security steps, and helping with documentation checks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to greet and assist all customers in a prompt, friendly manner.
• Pass an extensive post offer pre-employment background check including fingerprinting and criminal history check.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers through arrival and check-in processes and with special needs.
• Assist Ramp Service Agents to provide wheelchairs, strollers, and gate-checked bags.
• Operate jetway and reservation/ticketing software.
• Push wheelchairs through airport areas.
• Assist passengers with lifting bags up to 50 lbs.
• Inspect and verify passenger documentation.
• Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine.
