Job summary

GAT Airline Ground Support in Kenner, Louisiana is seeking a Customer Service Agent to be the first impression of a passenger's airport experience. You will assist passengers with check-in and ticketing, escort to aircraft, and resolve complaints, using a computer, with excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires being 18+, HS diploma or GED, able to read and speak English, and to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner over the phone and in person.
Announce incoming and outbound flights.
Handle credit cards, and personal check transactions with accuracy and proper accounting.
Accept and process checked baggage up to 100 lbs.
Operate jetways to position before arrival and manage doors.
Use airline systems to provide flight info, tickets, and baggage documentation.
Stand and work in one location for up to four hours.
Escort unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers as needed.
Work independently without direct supervision.
