Job summary

United Ground Express is hiring for a Passenger Service Agent to greet passengers, manage check-in and boarding processes, and resolve issues during flight interruptions. The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, operating reservation software, and standing for extended periods.

Ideal candidates will be comfortable with computers and radio communication, able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays, and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess and maintain a valid US state driver's license.
• Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and new technologies.
• Must be able to use radio electronic devices to communicate with co-workers or flight crew.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Greeting passengers and providing a seamless check-in and ticketing experience.
• Use reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, calculate and collect fees.
• Ensure passenger information is processed accurately and flights are sent out on time.
• Resolve passenger issues in accordance with company policies during flight interruptions.
• May work in the Baggage Service Office to track baggage and answer passenger questions.
• Lift baggage or cargo weighing up to 70 lbs. and assist with loading/unloading aircraft.
• Drive ground equipment to assist with taxi and baggage operations.
• Maintain aircraft cabin cleanliness and service lavatories.
• Work outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions.
