Job summary

United Ground Express is seeking an on-site Passenger Service Agent to assist at the airport. You will greet passengers, perform check-in and ticketing tasks, rebook as needed, and issue boarding passes while ensuring smooth operations.

You will handle baggage, read flight details, and support aircraft preparation for departures, maintaining customer service standards and safety compliance in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide friendly, efficient passenger service.
• Proficient with reservation/ticketing software and airline systems.
• Able to read, interpret baggage tags and flight details.

Responsibilities

• Greet passengers and assist with check-in and ticketing.
• Rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, and collect fees as needed.
• Ensure passenger data is accurate and flights depart on time.
• Address passenger questions and resolve issues in line with policies.
• Assist in Baggage Service Office to track baggage and answer inquiries.
• Operate computers and mobile devices; adapt to new tech.
• Stand, walk, and lift baggage up to 70 lbs for an 8-hour shift.
• Maintain composure handling customer challenges and disruptions.
• Read baggage tags and cargo labels; prep aircraft for next flight.
