Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is hiring a Passenger Assistant to provide personal assistance and support to passengers, especially those with special needs, ensuring a smooth and comfortable airport experience.

You will help with check-in, security, boarding, and guiding passengers to gates, including wheelchair services and mobility aids. The role requires excellent customer service, empathy, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Physically able to assist passengers, including pushing wheelchairs and handling luggage.
• Familiarity with airport operations and procedures.
• Ability to access and interpret information on IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs where applicable).
• Airlines operate 24/7; candidates must be flexible for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to passengers throughout the airport, including check-in, boarding, and arrival areas.
• Assist passengers with mobility issues, including wheelchairs and aids.
• Guide passengers through security checkpoints and customs areas.
• Offer information and directions regarding airport facilities, gates, and services.
• Help with luggage handling and transportation within the airport.
• Accommodate passengers with special needs for a safe, comfortable experience.
• Respond to passenger inquiries with timely and accurate information.
• Manage queues and crowd control in busy areas.
• Assist boarding onto and off the aircraft in coordination with airline staff.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
• Stay informed about flight schedules, delays, and gate changes.
• Provide support during emergency situations per airport protocols.
• Ensure compliance with airport security measures and regulations.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service standards and safety.

Skills
