Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking an Operations Management Trainee to participate in a structured, hands-on training program at our airport locations. You will rotate through Sales, Logistics, and Customer Service to learn how to improve fleet operations, revenue, and customer satisfaction while developing leadership skills.

Upon completing training, you will move into a supervisory role overseeing daily operations or sales, with mentorship and opportunities for advancement into Operations Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate's degree plus 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with ability to work collaboratively and make independent decisions.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with moderate noise levels.
• This position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.
• One year of customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical movements.

Responsibilities

• During eight-week training, rotate through core operational functions at airport operations.
• Learn how daily decisions impact fleet availability, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
• After training, transition into a supervisory role overseeing daily operations or sales functions.
• Lead frontline teams, support fleet operations, monitor performance metrics, ensure service and safety standards.
