Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Memphis, TN is seeking an Operations Management Trainee to join a structured, eight-week training program at our airport locations. You’ll rotate through Sales, Logistics and Customer Service while learning how decisions affect fleet availability, revenue, and customer satisfaction.

Upon completion, you’ll move into a supervisory role, lead frontline teams, monitor performance metrics and help ensure service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with bachelor’s or associate degree and 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to work collaboratively and make independent decisions.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to work on-site and various shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• During the eight-week training, rotate through core operational functions to build a foundation in airport ops.
• Transition into a supervisory role overseeing daily operations or sales functions.
• Lead frontline teams, support fleet operations and monitor performance metrics.
• Ensure service and safety standards are met and receive ongoing mentorship and development.
