Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking an Operations Management Trainee to join our airport locations in Hawaii. The eight-week training program covers sales, logistics, and customer service to develop future leaders, while teaching how to drive fleet availability, revenue, and customer satisfaction.

After completing training, you will transition into a supervisory role overseeing daily operations or sales, with mentorship and opportunities to advance into Operations Manager and other leadership positions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with 2+ years of customer service.
• Demonstrated leadership capability and collaborative decision making.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an eight-week rotational training across core operations.
• Learn how daily decisions affect fleet, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
• Transition into a supervisory role after training.
• Lead frontline teams and support fleet operations.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure safety standards.
• Receive ongoing mentorship and development support.
• Pursue advancement into Operations Manager and leadership roles.
