Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Hawaii is looking for an Operations Management Trainee to join a structured, hands-on program at airport locations. The role focuses on customer satisfaction, fleet operations, and leadership development.

During eight weeks you will rotate through core operational functions, then move into a supervisory role overseeing daily operations or sales functions, with mentorship and opportunities to advance into leadership roles within the organization.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree plus at least two years of customer service experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to work collaboratively and make independent decisions.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with moderate noise levels.
• This position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.
• One year of experience providing high-quality customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through core operational functions to build a foundation in airport operations.
• Learn how daily decisions impact fleet availability, revenue, customer satisfaction, and employee performance.
• After training, transition into a supervisory role overseeing daily operations or sales functions.
• Lead frontline teams, support fleet operations, monitor performance metrics, and ensure safety standards are met.
• Receive ongoing mentorship and development support with opportunities to advance into Operations Manager roles.
