Job summary

WHSmith, a global travel retailer, seeks an Operations Delivery Manager at Oakland International Airport. This property-based leadership role partners with the Multi-Unit Manager and store teams to drive performance, customer experience, and reliable execution at the assigned location.

You will analyze operating data, develop frontline capability, and reinforce SOPs, inventory controls, cash handling, and compliance.

Qualifications

3+ years of progressive retail, hospitality, airport, resort, or high-volume customer-facing operational leadership experience.
Ability to lead through influence, coach store teams, support leaders, and drive accountability in a fast-paced property environment.
Strong understanding of retail KPIs, sales drivers, labor productivity, inventory control, shrink reduction, audit readiness, compliance, and expense management.
Ability to analyze performance data, identify root causes, and translate insights into clear action plans that improve business performance.

Responsibilities

Drive operational performance and execution across the assigned airport property.
Lead coaching and development to strengthen leadership capability.
Analyze sales, labor, inventory, and compliance data to guide action.
Ensure SOPs, cash handling, and safety procedures are followed.
