Job summary

VIP Hospitality at SEATAC Airport is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Contract Manager in daily operations. You will supervise hourly staff, schedule shifts, monitor inventory, and ensure compliance with airport health and safety rules.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching ability, and proactive service delivery in a travel/hospitality setting, with a focus on maintaining contract standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of supervisory experience.
• Proven mentoring, coaching, and delivery of training.
• Experience scheduling and managing time off for others.
• Management of a team including first-line supervisors and staff.
• Travel, hospitality, or aviation-related management in airport contexts.
• Self-driven, motivated, excellent communicator with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and ensure tasks are completed effectively.
• Manage staff to follow policies and safety regulations.
• Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Handle guest and stakeholder complaints and resolve promptly.
• Audit service levels against contract standards.
• Monitor inventory for uniforms and related items with records.
• Deliver training and update training materials as needed.
• Represent VIP Hospitality in the absence of the Contract Manager.
