Job summary

CLEAR is hiring an Assistant Operations Manager at Oakland International Airport (OAK). The role leads daily floor operations, reports to the General Manager, and drives security, service, and sales performance on shift.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a compensation of $28.00/hour. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, coaches staff, and ensures policy adherence while coordinating station activities and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of leadership experience in a customer-facing operation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency using technology daily in work
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
• Ability to follow CLEAR, airport, state and federal regulations
• Availability for non-traditional schedule (weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings)
• Successful completion of CLEAR and government screening including background checks

Responsibilities

• Spend 80% of time on the floor in a customer-facing environment at the airport
• Ensure CLEAR and TSA policy and procedures with high security and integrity
• Monitor and drive security, service and sales on each shift
• Manage shift briefings, debriefs and huddles; handle changes, breaks and rotations
• Coach, mentor and train the team to meet sales and customer service goals
• Oversee asset control and devices; troubleshoot as needed
• Represent CLEAR with airport, TSA and airline community; build stakeholder relationships
• Manage incident prevention and responses
• Attend station management team meetings
