Job summary

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is seeking a Maintenance Service Representative to ensure maintenance work orders are processed and tracked to completion at Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) or Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).

The role serves as a point of contact for service requests, uses the CMMS system, and supports the Engineering and Maintenance Department. A high school diploma or GED and a valid state driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressively responsible experience in receiving, processing, and coordinating maintenance service requests or work orders.
• Skill in using an automated work order entry system.
• Ability to clarify work requests or prepare/edit work orders.
• Ability to perform detailed analysis of data and information, and make recommendations.
• Ability to interact with business contacts in a professional, customer-service manner.
• Skill in using a computer and modern office software, with emphasis on spreadsheet software and an automated work order system.
• Ability to speak and write effectively.

Responsibilities

• Staffs the work order desk and receives requests in person or via radio, phone, or written/electronically submitted forms.
• Logs requests and reviews logs from other shifts to identify items needing work.
• Enters information into the CMMS and routes requests to maintenance shops or contractors.
• Tracks high priority work orders and provides status updates to supervisors and requestors.
• Maintains CMMS data entry and documentation; assists users with CMMS data retrieval.
