Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority seeks an Air Conditioning Mechanic to join the Utilities Division at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) or Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). You will install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial-grade HVAC systems, assist with BAS/DDC controls, and support safety procedures during operations.

The role requires a four-year HVAC background, EPA Universal certification, a valid driver’s license, and ability to work

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in installation, testing, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of chillers, chilled water systems, and boilers.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; skilled with HVAC tools.
• Strong safety awareness and OSHA knowledge; able to communicate clearly.

Responsabilités

• Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs or adjustments.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain AC units and BAS/DDC systems.
• Coordinate with teams on start-ups and safety procedures during operations.
• Prepare reports and provide on-the-job training as needed.
