Qualifications

• Five years of progressive experience in heavy mobile equipment repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of supervisory principles and ability to manage operations.
• Ability to supervise Heavy Equipment Mechanics and interpret manuals.
• Experience with electrical theory and electrical controls on heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with safety rules and on-site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure sufficient materials and equipment for upcoming projects.
• Establish deadlines based on schedules, safety, and priorities.
• Lead mechanics; monitor performance and conduct evaluations.
• Prepare timekeeping, work orders, and shift reports.
• Inspect work in progress and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Oversee snow operations and emergency response as needed.
