Hyde Park Hospitality is seeking a Food and Beverage Runner for the Chase SAN Lounge in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on delivering best-in-class guest service and timely handling of food and beverage orders at the premium airport lounge.

As part of the Airport Dimensions team supporting the Chase Sapphire Lounge, you will ensure quality service, host guests, and collaborate with kitchen staff to meet dietary needs and special requests.

Qualifications

• Guest-facing role with emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cheerful, courteous demeanor to ensure premium lounge experience.
• Pay attention to guest inquiries, take time to understand needs, and respond appropriately.
• Read and understand menus and service communications to deliver accurate orders.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members to ensure smooth service.
• Document and convey guest feedback to staff for prompt action.
• Deescalate conflicts professionally to preserve guest satisfaction.
• Develop quick, effective solutions to service obstacles as they arise.
• Balance multiple tasks efficiently during peak periods.
• Demonstrate strong oral communication to assist guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a positive guest experience and resolve complaints per policy.
• Serve food and beverage items promptly to guests.
• Coordinate with Front of House and Back of House teams for orders.
• Assist with table settings and restocking before service.
• Deliver orders and refreshments to tables in a timely, safe manner.
• Check in with guests for additional orders or refills as needed.
• Inform staff about guest feedback and requests.
• Maintain knowledge of all offerings and respond to ingredient questions.
• Assist with dish removal and clean-up as part of duty rotation.
• Support other duties as assigned.
