Job summary

Compass Group USA seeks a District Manager to oversee Capital One Lounge operations across major U.S. airports. You will provide strategic, operational leadership across locations and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

You will develop high-performing leaders, drive financial performance, culinary and service standards, and maintain strong client relationships. Travel ~60% and residency near major airports required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years leadership experience in multi-unit hospitality or related environment.
• Strong financial management including budgeting, labor, cost controls, and P&L management.
• Proven ability to build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must reside near IAD, DCA, JFK, or LGA.
• Must be willing to travel approximately 60% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across multiple Capital One Lounge locations, ensuring consistent service and guest experiences.
• Lead, coach, and develop operational leaders while fostering accountability and engagement.
• Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted strategic partner.
• Drive hospitality quality, guest satisfaction, safety, and financial performance.
• Own district P&L including budgeting and labor management.
• Evaluate performance and implement strategies to improve results.
• Develop leadership talent through coaching and performance management.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence through site visits and client meetings.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support business priorities.
