Job summary

HMSHost at the Phoenix Airport location is seeking a Cook responsible for preparing cooked foods and supporting all station roles (Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, eggs). You will communicate with the manager and servers to ensure timely service and maintain high quality standards.

This non-exempt role requires at least 1 year of cooking experience in a high-volume casual dining environment, with strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety.

Qualifications

• Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Minimum 1 year cooking experience in high-volume casual dining preferred.
• Knowledge of soups, sautés, broiler, fry and pantry stations.
• Able to read and follow instructions and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares items across stations (Fry, Flat Top, Pantry, eggs).
• Communicates ticket times and issues to manager and servers as needed.
• Maintains high quality, safety and sanitation standards; HACCP compliant.
• Operates kitchen equipment and assists with inventory as required.
