Job summary

This non-exempt role reports to the Store Manager or General Manager and requires HACCP-compliant food safety, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and experience in a high-volume casual dining environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of cooking experience, preferably in high-volume casual dining.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety practices.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents, and converse with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry and egg station responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares a variety of foods per directions.
• Monitors production, estimates requirements, and requisitions supplies.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment.
• Maintains food safety and HACCP standards.
• Operates kitchen equipment and handles knives and hot plates.
