Job summary

Peraton is hiring Customer Technical Specialists to support DHS/TSA at airports nationwide. The role focuses on IT operations, end-user hardware, and network support across on-site locations in Las Vegas. Travel up to 25% is expected to cover airport and customer sites.

You will provide hands-on support for Cisco switches, desktops, VoIP, and security clocks, while ensuring SLAs and professional service for senior government staff.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required; must obtain/maintain DHS EOD clearance.
• Experience supporting end-user IT hardware and software in desk-side or field service.
• Experience supporting a variety of IT technologies (laptops, mobile devices, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to support senior government staff with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for IT and network systems (desktop, laptops, printers, scanners, VoIP, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues remotely and in-person.
• Install and configure end-user devices (laptops, mobile devices, VTC units, peripherals).
• Support infrastructure components (fiber backbones, patch panels, network interconnectivity).
• Log and manage updates via ticketing system; maintain asset and configuration records.
