Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with relevant IT experience or an Associate's degree with more experience; HS diploma with more years accepted.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain/maintain DHS EOD clearance.
• Experience supporting end-user IT hardware and software in desk-side or field service.
• Experience supporting laptops, mobile devices, and related IT technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism when supporting senior government staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT and network support for a wide range of systems and devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues remotely or in-person.
• Install and configure end-user devices and peripherals.
• Support infrastructure components like fiber backbones, patch panels, and network interconnectivity.
• Log and manage updates through a ticketing system and maintain asset records.
• Conduct routine IT inventory audits and update documentation.
• Recommend technology and process improvements to enhance service delivery.
• Deliver professional support directly to senior DHS/TSA personnel.
