Job summary

Piedmont Airlines in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Customer Service Agent in our Ground Handling Department to assist passengers, operate the Jetway, and guide aircraft in all weather. You will be part of a team dedicated to safe, efficient boarding and excellent service.

You must complete the training, be able to lift 70 pounds, and work outdoors in varied conditions. Starting rate is $15.00 per hour with benefits including paid training, holiday pay, 401(k), vacation, and medical/dental coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
• Monitor computerized passenger boarding
• Assist customers with special needs, including wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
• Change flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
• Operate the Jetway
• Load and unload baggage and cargo
• Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment
• Guide and park aircraft
• Perform cabin maintenance tasks
• Work as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
