Job summary

Avflight Lansing is seeking a customer service oriented individual to support passengers and cargo operations at Lansing, MI. The role involves handling itineraries, ticketing, refunds, baggage processing, and ensuring smooth airport flow.

The position requires excellent communication, the ability to work flexible hours including weekends, and physical capability to lift 50 lbs. Background checks and drug testing are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read and write English; bilingual skills a plus.
• Must pass background check, pre-employment drug test and obtain security clearance.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly service to customers.
• Arrange itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, tickets, check baggage and collect excess charges.
• assist passengers with reservations, standby, luggage, cabin availability and in-flight supplies.
• Guide passengers to/from aircraft ensuring a safe path at all times.
• Load/unload cargo on/off aircraft and transport between terminals and aircraft.
• Operate ground equipment and service cabin interiors, including cockpit and lavatories.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
