Job summary

Avflight Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time passenger service agent to assist travelers at Grand Rapids, MI. You will greet customers, process tickets, handle baggage, and support flight operations in a busy airport environment.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, ability to read/write English, lift 50 lbs, and work varied hours including weekends or holidays. Must pass background checks and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Read and write English.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs for extended periods.
• Availability to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts plus weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must pass background check, pre-employment drug test and obtain security clearance.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly service to all customers.
• Complete ticketing, refunds, fare calculation, and baggage handling.
• Assist with reservations, standby, luggage, cabin availability and in-flight supplies.
• Guide passengers through the terminal and onto aircraft.
• Perform cargo loading/unloading and marshalling of aircraft.
• Operate ground equipment and maintain cabin interiors as needed.
