Job summary

AVFLIGHT Grand Rapids is seeking customer service oriented staff to assist passengers and cargo operations. Responsibilities include providing efficient service, arranging itineraries, issuing tickets, checking baggage, and handling freight on and off aircraft.

The role covers ground duties, safety, de-icing when needed, and operating ground equipment. Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, pass background and drug tests, and be able to work varied shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
• Ability to read and write English; bilingual skills a plus.
• Ability to work under time constraints and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly service to all customers.
• Complete arrangements for passengers: itineraries, tickets, refunds, baggage handling.
• Assist with reservations, standby, luggage, cabin availability, and in-flight supplies.
• Guide passengers from the terminal to aircraft ensuring safe movement.
• Load and unload cargo, transport between terminals and aircraft, marshalling equipment.
• Maintain the aircraft cabin and work around airport environment safely.
