Job summary

Esri is seeking a GIS subject matter expert to advise customers on complex business challenges, demonstrate the value of GIS, and help the account team plan and execute sales strategies. You will speak confidently about Esri technologies and become the airport industry and ArcGIS expert for our customers.

This role requires 2+ years with Esri tech for mapping and spatial analysis, 1+ year in the airport sector, strong IT understanding of ArcGIS, cloud concepts, and proven consulting ability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with Esri tech for mapping and spatial analysis.
• 1+ years in or supporting the airport industry.
• Understanding of ArcGIS in IT context (hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud).
• Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design.
• Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts (Azure or AWS).
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
• Authorization to work in the US (Visa sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Build relationships. Present, demonstrate, and support selling Esri software and solutions as part of the account team.
• Be an expert. Become a subject matter expert of the airport industry and ArcGIS; communicate Esri messaging and anticipate needs.
• Solve problems. Craft solutions showing GIS business value and align Esri technology with customer needs.
• Tell our story. Deliver technical demos and presentations; share best practices for deployment and administration.
