Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs seeks a GIS subject matter expert to sell Esri software and solutions to airport clients. You will become a technical trusted advisor, presenting ArcGIS capabilities and mapping how GIS adds business value.

Responsibilities include building relationships, delivering demonstrations, designing presentations, and shaping sales strategies; travel 25-50% domestically or internationally.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
• 1+ years of experience working in or supporting the airport industry.
• Understanding of ArcGIS from an IT context (hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud computing).
• Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design with sales/business development awareness.
• Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts/environments (Azure or AWS).
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this posting; authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri deployment and architecture.
• Experience integrating software solutions with data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics.
• Experience incorporating real-time information streams with GIS data and IT infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships. Present, demonstrate, and support selling Esri software and solutions as part of the account team.
• Be an expert. Develop subject matter expertise in the airport industry and ArcGIS; communicate Esri messaging convincingly.
• Solve problems. Proactively craft solutions showing GIS business value and define deployment strategies.
• Tell our story. Design and present technical demos for diverse audiences; share best practices.
