Job summary

Esri is seeking a GIS subject matter expert to help customers solve complex business challenges with GIS. You will advocate for Esri solutions, build relationships, present demonstrations, and show how ArcGIS reveals patterns and insights.

You will become an airport-industry expert and a technical ArcGIS advisor, delivering presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences and traveling up to 25–50% to support customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps and spatial analyses.
• 1+ years of experience working in or supporting the airport industry.
• Understanding ArcGIS in an IT context (hardware, storage, security, networking, cloud).
• Experience in technical consulting and solution design; knowledge of sales processes.
• Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.
• Knowledge of cloud concepts (Azure or AWS).
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
• Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.
• U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships by presenting, demonstrating, and supporting Esri software within the account team.
• Become a subject matter expert of the airport industry and ArcGIS; communicate Esri messaging clearly.
• Proactively craft solutions showing GIS business value to customers.
• Design and deliver technical demonstrations; present to technical and non-technical audiences.
