Job summary

American Airlines at Eppley Airfield seeks a Full Time Customer Service Agent. Starting pay is $20.23 per hour. The role requires excellent passenger service, ticketing, check-in, seating, and gate operations to support a smooth travel experience.

On-site position with benefits, training, and opportunities to grow within a global airline network. Compliance with FAA, TSA, DOT regulations is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or international equivalent.
• Bilingual language skills required in some locations.
• Applicable valid driver’s license as required by local authorities.
• FAA background checks to qualify for SIDA access (if applicable).
• Must secure airport authority and/or US Customs security badges (if applicable).
• Pre-employment drug screen and comprehensive background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Issue, reissue and refund passenger tickets.
• Book, ticket and confirm flight reservations.
• Rebook passengers on oversold flights and during irregular operations.
• Perform passenger check-in and seating; manage upgrades where applicable.
• Coordinate with contractors for passenger hotel accommodations, meals and transportation.
• Assist with passenger boarding and gate procedures.
• Operate gate reader/scanner and jetways for boarding/deplaning.
• Provide gate information and ensure compliance with security guidelines.
