Job summary

United Ground Express is hiring for a Ground Service Agent in North Carolina. The role involves greeting passengers, checking in and ticketing, rebooking itineraries, and issuing boarding passes.

You will process passenger data, collect applicable fees, and coordinate with flight crews for on-time departures. You will also assist with baggage handling, resolve passenger issues per policy, and perform aircraft prep duties.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Background checks and fingerprint clearance may be required.
• Willing to work any shift, weekends, and holidays; overtime may be required.
• Comfortable using computers, mobile devices and new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Greet passengers and check in and ticketing per policy.
• Rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, collect fees as needed.
• Process passenger information accurately and ensure timely flight communications.
• Resolve passenger issues following company procedures during interruptions.
• Assist in Baggage Service Office and track baggage locations as needed.
• Operate radios to communicate with crew and staff.
• Safely lift baggage up to 70 lbs and handle cargo.
• Assist with aircraft preparation and post-flight duties.
